A sneak peek!!

So I happened to be in the doctor's office today having a few tests done, and they did like a 5 minute ultrasound just to check a couple things out. It's on BRAND new equipment, though - and they were able to show me this! My heart about stopped, this is WAY more detail than we've ever gotten from a 2D ultrasound. They call it 4D, I'm not sure how we skipped straight from 2D to 4D or what the extra dimension above 3D is... but anyway - Ignore the parts of the photo that look like lumpy dollops of mashed potatoes, it's mostly on the right side that you can ignore, but there are a few chunks- by the eye and mouth on the left side... that are a little morphed. They call them artifacts - the price you pay for getting a sneak peek at your wee one.

At any rate - maybe I'm biased, but I think he's pretty darn cute! I'll admit it, I thought maybe we got lucky with the first two, and this one was gonna be strange looking somehow. But I can definitely see a resemblance to the other two. And I just want to pinch that little nose. I think, based on this, he might be a total cross between Riley and Elliot.
